Perfect Post Award? Me? Seriously?

Wow! Apparently there is this thing called the "Perfect Post Award" that is given out monthly by the charming moms at Petroville and Suburban Turmoil. And, if you can believe it, yours truly was nominated!

I didn't win of course... probably far too many references to farting in my posts... but just like at the Oscars, it's a honor to simply have been nominated. Thank you, Mother-Woman, for taking the time to offer up my name and thank you for thinking so highly of one of my posts. I really appreciate it. For your efforts, you're my official Blog-Crush of the Month!

It's not a contest, really. If you were nominated, you won. Everyone who's nominated wins: not just one of those little blog-buttons, but all that mind-boggling prestige of knowing you were on this month's list. Mo-wo would've emailed you the code for your sidebar. No?

Congrats, DD!

You win my coveted Blogrollworthy award as well.

Seriously, I'm fussy about who makes my short list. Consider yourself honored as all get out.

That's cool!

You know, I'm inclined to think it was because of the farting posts...

Mary... Thanks for dropping in at the ol' blog! I had no idea that everyone who was nominated was allowed to get all gussied up with the nifty blog-button. Hmm. I'll have to look into that! Thanks! And, yes, it is prestigious!

Sarah... Gosh, thanks! I really appreciate that. I say it so often in my comments that it probably comes across as insincere, but I do appreciate anyone stopping in to read my senseless ramblings. The fact that someone would actually link to my paranoid missives is both humbling and a little scary!

Creative-Type Dad... So, more posts about farting, then? I see what I can do. Thanks for the pointer!

Keep yer farts of her, buddy, and no hands!

That's, erm, "off her." Christ.

p-man... Fear not, my friend, for my intentions are noble. Besides, that would totally break the "guy code," and frankly, I don't want to get beat up.

Allow me to cop to a Ben Kingsley moment:

Post DD. postpostpostpostpost. DD. What are you, DD? Are you a valise?

I don't know what that means.
